Antony has 10 years experience in the field of chemometrics and crop phenotyping giving him a deep understanding of field based testing in agriculture. His experience working with optical hardware and machine learning processes has revealed an opportunity to bring Hone's next generation testing platform out of the lab and into the hands of businesses and consumers.
Dr. Jamie Flynn has a background in medical research and deep technology development. From designing electrical interfaces with neurons to building advanced 3D medical microscopes, Jamie has always had a passion for creating and sharing new technologies. He co-founded Hone to apply his skills to the exciting area of in-field chemical testing in Agriculture and hopes to improve the data legacy passed onto the next generation of farmers and land custodians.
William worked in several successful managerial roles in the service industry before finding his passion in agricultural research. He has a keen eye for new technology and how to convert expensive, labour intensive tasks into efficient, high-throughout solutions. William splits his time between the Hone R&D workshop, and out in the field to find the most needed applications for the Hone Platform.
Peter Tylee has been developing software professionally for 20 years, both in Australia and abroad. He has experience in a range of industries including finance, publishing, research, manufacturing, energy and the tech-sector, and is excited to bring his knowledge of advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning to in-field chemical testing. Peter has tremendous respect for everyone making a living on the land, and feels honoured to be part of a team that is working to make farmers' lives easier.
Simon has extensive research experience focussed on increasing seed filling and crop yield, along with professional experience as a science communicator. Simon manages in-field calibration development, pilot project operations and customer success, empowering HONE to deliver improved customer interaction, engagement and integration.
Brenton has over 10 years’ experience in systems engineering in defence and mining sectors across Australia. He has been responsible for delivering and managing large projects through all stages of development. With a passion for IoT, he’s been able to develop novel solutions to long-standing problems. He has an eager electric green thumb with bringing his own designs to his family farms and home gardens.
James has spent the last twenty years developing new technology products. Following his engineering degree he spent two years working in the Pilbara iron ore industry as an engineer before entering the world of digital technology, where he has worked in areas including ecommerce, software, mobile data and apps. From his mining days to his farming family, James understands how groundbreaking Hone's technology platform is and what it can deliver to Agriculture.
Nick has been building software for over 20 years and has experience working in a multitude of industries including finance, education, defence and supply chain. He is originally from the UK and in 2013 moved to Australia with his family to 'get some sun'. He is excited about delivering solutions that will help customers in their day to day chemical testing.
Jimmy has fifteen years experience in product market entry. A passionate communicator, he enjoys the challenge of strategic approaches and stakeholder management. With strong interests in both agriculture and Internet of Things (IOT) Jimmy enjoys delivering Hone Testing to the farmers and agronomists of Australia.
Felicity supports Hone customers create and manage their models to provide accurate and reliable information in-field. Her background is in business growth management with a range of national and international companies. Most recently she has focused these skills towards sustainable environmental management as a means to improve current agricultural practices.
